Description

Kisame Hoshigaki is rogue ninja from the Hidden Mist Village and former member of the 7 Ninja Swordmen of the Mist. As a member of Akatsuki, he was partnered with Itachi Uchiha and despite greeting each other with hostility, they became one of the partnerships within the organisation.

Kisame wields the Samehada (Shark Skin) sword which is regarded as the most terrifying of all the 7 swordsmen's blades as it is in fact a sentient being which feeds upon the chakra of others. Kisame gained ownership of the sword by killing its previous owner Fuguki Suikazan.
