Hashirama Senju was originally the leader of the Senju clan who under his leadership came to be regarded as one of the two most powerful clans in the ninja world, rivaling the renowned battle-oriented Uchiha clan. Eventually growing tired of the constant fighting, Hashirama and his clan approached the Uchiha clan with the offer of a truce which their leader Madara Uchiha accepted and together the two clans founded The Village Hidden in the Leaves. When deciding who should become the leader of Konoha, the villagers selected Hashirama over Madara for the title of First Hokage. Fearing that Hashirama would oppress the Uchiha, Madara left the village, and challenged Hashirama's rule in an intense battle at the Final Valley. Despite using the 9 Tailed Madara was defeated and presumed dead.

Hashirama was most famous for his Wood style jutsu, a kekkei genkai which mixes earth and water chakra natures to create this new element. By converting chakra into the source of life, he was able to create trees causing them to grow to great sizes and manipulate them to diverse shapes. It was said that this ability was used to create the very landscape and foundation that the Leaf Village is built on. This ability was apparently unique for him, since none of his relatives were known to have carried on this ability.

the first hokage my favorite character aside from Mizune :D I like the armor and that old fart attitude with them xD even lacking show time I still like those two the most :P

This looks really nice except for the mouth which looks rather odd for him. Did you not want to add the Senju clan symbol on his top armor on the side of his neck?
